Vasantdada Patil Ayurvedic Medical College, Sangli is situated between Sangli and Miraj cities at vishrambag, Sangli. This college is a Government of Maharashtra state grant-in-aid college established in 1981, located in the heart of the City, near the market yard. Sangli is one of the important cities of the western Maharashtra region & is known for its famous turmeric market in Asia.
The Vasantdada Patil Ayurvedic Medical College is recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine and affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nasik. The College runs regular University Courses for Graduate degrees in Ayurveda (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery, B.A.M.S.) with an intake capacity of 75 students.
